This is CHALK's Nation Pride outfit! We re-made it in a luxurious red sheen jersey in the ever popular Sally dress style. Why this design?

On our Nation's birthday, we specially designed a versatile and multi way dress that represents the unique and diverse culture of our country. With every twist and turn for a new look, it symbolizes how Singapore has transformed and developed into such a stunning cosmopolitan country of today! This is a limited edition outfit designed specially for Nation Pride event.

Come by Millienna Walk soon to take a look at this installation all the designers worked so hard to put together! We cut, folded, sticked, pasted and stamped all the boxes and covered them into a mini Singapore map:) For more details on how to win VIP tickets to the opening party, all you need to do is to share a comment here.

Dreams of Pandora: Part 2

Fiona dress comes in Sky Blue, Blush Pink and Jet Black. The ribbon sash is detachable and can be worn on the shoulders or as a belt.

Hilda dress comes only in Jade Green. The yellow fabric has sold out hence it didn't make it into production.

If you've been waiting for Sarah, Sammi, Hilda and Fiona Dress.. They are in store NOW! Come by soon before the sizes runs out! A couple of designs have sizes sold out or running low in stock. In the meantime, have a fabulous weekend ahead:)

Stamp of Pride

Here's a glimpse of the upcoming Nation Pride installation! All designers have to make our own paper boats filled with details about our inspiration and brand philosophy. Every one of them is handmade so if you're there at the event, remember to pick up one of the boats and give it a good read! Btw, it's also my first time making a paper boat:P

PARCO Nation Pride Event

Love this cute demo of a paper heart via this great blog!

Not sure if anyone of you know but Parco will be organizing a Nation Pride event where each designer from Parco Next Next will design an outfit that speaks of their love for Singapore. It's going to be a huge installation happening at Millennia Walk and customers can choose which is their favourite design and there will be a private party happening next week!

Date: 5th August 2010

Day: Thursday

Time: 7pm sharp

Venue: Millennia Walk Grand Hall

Dress code: Come support this event in any Singaporean designer ware!

Mini Us

This morning, Evelyn from Swirl texted me congratulating me on our new collection and she started to send me texts with really adorable icons via Emoji! Next thing I know, I broke into a long laughter when she sent me a pocoyize version of me inspired by our latest collection! wahhaa..

And this will be very cool Evelyn with her bob hair cut and those aviator glasses!

And Suzanne in her china doll jacket from her childhood which she can still fit in! Whahaa..this app is free and is super adorable!

We're featured in La Mode OUTRE blog!

Imagine our surprise when we saw our designs featured on James's blog from the Nafa fashion show (We were invited as guest designers for the diploma show) a couple of months back. I love the lighting in the picture and as I recalled it was a frantic mad rush backstage as we tried to fit 20 models in less than a few minutes. Looking at the pictures again really brought back the fun and crazy memories we had!

Her Magic Machine

Miyuki Sakai is a genius simply because all her illustrations are done on a sewing machine and a zillion threads! It's so intricate and real that I thought they were hand drawings!

A Double Take

As we count down the hours, minutes and seconds to the launch of our collaboration with Reebonz, we squealed with delight when we saw how pretty they styled our pieces on the mannequins! If you've not been to the site, do so NOW as we've only got 1 more day left..

Many have commented that they love the sleeve details and comfort in Francesa Dress and now we've designed Francesa Jumpsuit in both Grey and Black for more mileage! It can be worn over a vest for work, a jacket for a meeting and a straw hat for a weekend getaway!
